Technology Transactions & Licensing for Life Sciences & Technology Clients
Cayenne Law excels at advising clients on working with other organizations to research, develop and commercialize products and services in the life sciences, technology and other IP-centric sectors, through licensing or other transactions involving intellectual property rights.
Jerry Marr's broad and deep experience was honed over a decade at WilmerHale, one of the most highly respected international law firms, and through a substantial prior career in the software industry. He has a proven track record of successfully representing public and privately held clients on numerous complex collaborations, including several with a potential value of over one billion dollars each.
Cayenne also routinely advises clients on day-to-day matters that arise in the normal course of their business. These matters include structuring, drafting and negotiating agreements for services, consulting, joint research and development, manufacturing and supply, purchasing, distribution, licensing, cloud-based services, and new product testing (including clinical trials and pilot studies).
Although Cayenne does not provide legal advice on regulatory, tax, antitrust, litigation, patent prosecution or corporate matters, we do maintain a network of experts who can assist clients in those areas should a need arise.
Cayenne Law was established in 2016 to meet the demand from innovative organizations for practical transactional advice without the high costs, overhead and potential for inefficiencies and conflicts that all too often accompany working with larger law firms. Cayenne has since grown to serve the needs of dozens of clients.
At Cayenne, you will receive the personal attention and solution-oriented, quality advice you seek without sacrificing the deep and broad experience that is the hallmark of the best large firms. Our streamlined practice allows us to offer hourly rates much lower than those charged by larger law firms for comparable expertise, so you can complete strategic and routine transactions more cost effectively.
